Hallvar Djupvik was born and raised in Tomrefjord. After his education at the Opera Academy in Copenhagen, he has been a soloist at the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet, guitarist and singer in the band Polkabjørn and Kleine Heine, and has gained many years of experience as a church singer/musician in Oslo. He has received numerous scholarships and awards, including Shell's Music Theater Scholarship in 2010.
Stephanie Lippert is a mezzo-soprano from Norrtälje in Sweden, educated at the Opera Academy in Copenhagen. In November 2010, she made her debut as "Anna" in the Royal Danish Theatre's production of Nabucco, conducted by Per Giorgio Morandi. As a freelance opera singer, she has performed roles in Norway, Denmark, and Sweden, including "Tatjana" in Eugene Onegin, "Susanna" in The Marriage of Figaro, and "Marguerite" in Faust.
Accompanying them is the eminent Martin Bredin on piano. Martin is a pianist, conductor, composer, and choir leader. After studying with Jiri Hlinka in Bergen and Oslo, he has worked for many years as a répétiteur at the Opera in Kristiansund. He is widely used as a kapellmeister and arranger, as well as an orchestral and choral conductor internationally.
